We’ve Got Your Cryoskin FAQs Answered!

You asked, and we have the answers. Here’s everything you’ve wanted to know about Cryoskin, CryoSlimming & CryoToning.

  1. What is Cryoskin? CryoSkin is a machine manufactured in Italy with a focus on non-invasive sessions for slimming, cellulite reduction, and toning. Using a temperature-controlled massage wand to apply cold and heat to the face and/or body, CryoSkin works with your body’s natural systems to produce slimming and toning effects.
  2. What is the difference between Cryoskin & Coolsculpting? Cryoskin is a non-invasive fat reduction treatment that offers a safer alternative to CoolSculpting, without the risk of PAH. Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia (PAH) is a rare but distressing complication that can occur following CoolSculpting treatments.

Cryoskin uses a handheld device that glides over the skin’s surface, delivering precise and controlled cooling to the targeted fat cells. This suction-free approach differentiates Cryoskin from CoolSculpting and significantly reduces the likelihood of PAH.

Key reasons why Cryoskin doesn’t have the same PAH risks as CoolSculpting:

    1. No Suction: By eliminating suction from the treatment process, Cryoskin minimizes potential stress and trauma to the treated area, reducing the likelihood of PAH development. This gentle treatment allows for a more comfortable experience without compromising results.
    2. Controlled Application: Cryoskin’s handheld device allows for better control and customization of the treatment, ensuring a more even and consistent application of cooling temperatures. This reduces the risk of overcooling or uneven treatment, which could potentially lead to PAH.
    3. Gradual Cooling: Cryoskin gradually lowers the temperature in the treated area, ensuring a more controlled and gentle cooling process. This gradual approach helps to minimize the risk of sudden temperature changes that could contribute to PAH. (source: artemis.co)
  3. What happens during a CryoSlimming treatment? A typical slimming treatment will start with a short period of skin warming, followed by a gradual but rapid decrease in the temperature. Applying alternating hot and freezing temperatures can naturally help destroy fat cells.
  4. How quickly will I see results? Results are generally visible from the first session. For CryoToning, results are at their best about 3-5 days after. For CryoSlimming, the best results appear from 15 days to 3 weeks after the start of treatment. CryoToning & CryoSlimming are best done in a series and then continued on a maintenance plan. For the best results, we recommend completing at least 5 sessions of CryoSlimming or CryoToning sessions per area.
  5. How long do the results last? Results can vary depending on individual body composition, lifestyle, and maintenance practices and can last several months or several years. To prolong the benefits of Cryoskin, it is recommended to follow a healthy lifestyle that includes regular exercise and a balanced diet. Maintaining an overall healthy lifestyle will not only help you see the best Cryoskin results, but it will also support you on your path to wellness.
  6. What is the difference between CryoSlimming and CryoToning?

CryoSlimming uses a pain-free and non-invasive application of alternating hot and freezing temperatures to destroy unwanted fat cells –and helps you lose inches!  It can be done once every 14 days to allow for the destroyed cells to pass naturally through your body’s lymphatic system. CryoToning, is a non-invasive procedure that uses freezing temperatures to smooth, lift, tone, and tighten skin, eliminate cellulite and improve the skin’s overall texture and appearance. These sub-zero temperatures help boost the production of collagen, reduce inflammation and increase the skin’s elasticity, all of which help reduce signs of aging. The waiting period between CryoToning treatments is less than CryoSlimming sessions. CryoToning treatments can be performed every 3 – 7 days.
